@thechaz83 During and for about two to three years after college, I would write and write and write to no avail about things that I loved. And then I had a nervous breakdown and was put on a bunch of drugs. Now I cannot even form a single thought on a blank page. I blame the drugs. So, what I do now is that I don't even try to use my imagination. I just take everyday events and I write them down and then I ask myself... "What if..."

@MrSpanky87 Yeah. I seem to get new interests all the time. At the moment I'm into writing, playing bass guitar, biology, cooking, Atheist vs Christian debating. I also go to school. Unfortunately the thing I've been interested with the longest is computers and I'm quite addicted to it so it keeps me from achieving anything in my other interests. Like Stephen said, you need a lot of hard work. Many successful people say that you have to keep doing what you like and avoid doing anything else.

I often struggle to juggle between my hobbies - I love painting/drawing, writing/reading, and guitar/piano - But I'm afraid that unless I cut my list down to one specific goal I'll end up becoming a jack of all trades and master of none. :-( Anyone ever had a similar problem that gave him loads of stress?

@thechaz83 Write a ton of poetry thats free verse and strange. Read a ton of it too. GO online and look up this guy called Ted Mathys, you should understand when you find some of his stuff. Oh also try and daydream, and night dream. Nightmares are good too but fear is a tricky emotion to put into writing.

Ensuite il dit qu'il faut également écrire beaucoup pour développer un style propre. À la fin, il décrit un "moment magique" qui se produit dans la vie d'un auteur. what he doesn't realize is that all his hard work is reflected in his masterpieces. he didn't have all the digital luxuries back in his heyday, and it shows. if he had been a film maker today, he would have opted for CGI instead of the amazing special effects that he used back then. i'm glad things worked out the way they did.

When you get to meet him, you will not be disappointed. He is sweet, down to earth, intelligent, and very kind to his fans.
