@TheMoh668 Regarding dice example. By playing any of the 54321 you'll have a 1/5 chance of a match when any of these appear (5/6). 1/6 throws you should get 6 appearing. Thats an exeption aka variable. You create the categories yourself. Certain combination patterns appear more often than others. By sticking to a more popular pattern you reduce the odds of winning. There is a plethora of information online regarding random number behaviour. Its nothing new.

Yes I know it will always gone blue, but they are not asking you to guess what color it is going come out! Try this, get a dice and highlight one side then roll it 60 times and keep track of the result. You are OFCOURSE gone get more non-highlighted then highlighted ones but if you compare the highlighted die to another single side then the result should come out even. continued...

In theory, yes you have 1 out of 10 chance of getting a specific number, but you know that most draws will be blue, therefore if you play a blue number you have 1 out of 9 of getting a match. Also by looking at the previous draw results, you can predict roughly when a yellow is going to appear, so depending on the previous draws you can make a decision whether you play a yellow or a blue.

Okay mate, let?s put this way. I have 10 balls all numbered from 1 to 10. All balls are colored blue, but the tenth ball is colored yellow. Your theory suggests that I should vote for anything but the yellow because I have 1/10 shoots of getting that yellow ball while I have 9/10 of getting the blue. But I still have 1/10 shoots of picking 1 or 2 or 3 ... or 5 ... or 8 or 9 It doesn?t matter what the color of the ball or what category it is in, it is the number that counts.

To explain the concept as simply as possible i will give you an example to think about: There are 1000 balls in a bowl. 800 are red, 100 are blue,95 are green and 5 are orange. Now, we probably agree that the chances of choosing any one of the balls is 1:1000, but which colour would you bet.

Continued......Therefore, if you were to play 3 numbers from the same range and 3 random ones, once every 3 draws you will match the pattern which will bring down the odds from 1:14,000,000 to just 1:350:000. Now you could take it a step further. By analysing past results and more specifically the pattern you are interested in you could predict which range will occur next. You can predict whether the next draw will have 3 numbers from 1-9 or 3 numbers from 10-19 and so on. Continued....

....What i'm saying is that there are other combinations someone could choose from that have more outcomes. For example, there are around 350,000 ways for someone to choose 3 numbers which belong within the same range (1-9,,10-19,....) and a remaining 3 random numbers. Now the interesting bit is that if you look at the UK Lottos previous results you will see that around 35% of all the draws have 3 numbers which belong to the same range and 3 random numbers. @TheMoh668 What your saying is correct. However your still missing the point i'm trying to make. Lets go to the UK Lotto example as the 2 out of 10 balls example doesn't represent the odds you get by playing the lottery. We agree thet there are 44 ways of choosing 6 consecutive numbers out of 49. We also agree that the probability is 0.00031%. You're saying that if you were to choose any other 44 combinations you would still have 0.00031% of being succesful and i agree. What i'm saying is......

Continued... So I have 9 chances of getting my ?D?oh? set while there is a total combination of 45. With your logic I should bet against my set because there are 20% chances of getting numbers from my set while there is 80% chance I won?t. But wait!! With my new set consecutive numbers are included in that 80% so it seems that all of the sudden it has became worth it to bid on those consecutive numbers. @TheMoh668 You have not given or elaborated on an explanation as to why you shouldn't compare the 2. Mate, i'm not just going to take your word for it. I have been analysing lottery results as a hobby for a long time now. i know what i'm talking about. The comparison is a valid one. Mate, I tried hard to explain to you not compare 44 numbers to 13,999,956 numbers but you still don't understand. Anyways, I found another thing you somehow managed to fail at; you say that you win $10 a week by playing around 2 tickets a week. Let?s assume those tickets cost around $2 each and so you play around $4. That means you?re winning about $6 a week, about $312 a year. Boy, you have this lottery thing figured out. While some people are winning millions here you are with your $312

Its not a strategy to help you win the jackpot. I'm just saying don't play consecutive numbers cause your never going to match all 6. There are other strategies you could use to select your numbers. For example. 40% of al results, and this works for all lotteries but the percentage varies slightly, have 3 numbers which fall within a specific range. 1-9, 10-19, 20-29........ Thats useful to know when your selecting your numbers, don't you agree?

@TheMoh668 Thats the point. It doesn't matter. There are only 44 ways to get consecutive and more than 13,000,000 of not getting consecutive. Your not after specific numbers. For example it doesn't matter which red you pick, the point is its red. It doesn't matter which non consecutive line you get , the point is its non consecutive. Thats why there has never been a 6 consecutive number result.

@xlstats Your ball argument is fine that is because 999,999 balls are red while only one is green, but the consecutive number is still wrong because all 14,000,000 are totally different numbers that don't match each other so it is kind of hard to compare the two.

@TheMoh668 There are 14,000,000 combinations out of which only 44 are consecutive. You can make the comparison. Example. There are 1,000,000 balls in a bowl out of which only 1 is green while the rest are red. The odds for picking any ball are 1/1,000,000. Agree? Now, each time you pick a ball, how many times will you pick a red one and how manytimes will you pick a green one. Give it some thought and you'll see where i'm coming from.

@TheMoh668 It doesn't matter whether £10 a month is good or not. Its a lot better than most people do, and i'm not really a hardcore player. i stick to playing 2 lines every draw, thats it. Difference is i choose my numbers carefully. Thats not the point anyway. The point is, its not worth playing consecutive numbers as they rarely appear. Thats what the example in the video was trying to say, plus a couple of other tips.
