What's relevant is that the CO2 concentration has increased by ~40% since the start of the Industrial Revolution, and the isotopic signature of the added CO2 shows that it's from burning fossil fuels. And there is very little disagreement in the scientific community. Somewhere between 85% and 97% of scientists, depending on what kind of scientists you ask, agrees with the basic thinking on AGW. That's about the same as for evolution.

Thanks for your comments Bear. As you are probably aware if you live in Canada, that the Arctic icecap is expanding. In 1905 Roald Asmundsen traversed the NW passage in a flimsy sailing boat. He couldn't do that in the present conditions. So the obvious is that there is more ice in the Arctic than there was 100 years ago. The problem with facts is people who haven't done without electricity, indoor plumbing and indoor toilets. The average pampered North American has no idea about the Arctic.

If we can get CO2 up to 1500 ppm then the plants will grow better and the poor countries can export fruit and vegetables which the polar countries will need badly due to the encroaching cooling.
