This is an awesome video. My mom has actually been using a similar technique for years. Instead of using a bag of water, she thaws out a gel ice pack, sticks it into her shoes, and then puts them in the freezer. But I tried the bag of water trick, and it is easier and actually works a lot better because the water bag is less difficult to manuever. Thanks for the vid, Michelle!

My mother has been using ice to enlarge her shoes for over a decade, and I believe that she learned it from her mother. It's an old trick. stretching your shoes just makes them wider, not making them longer. So consider it carefully before you do the purchase. It perfectly goes well with slingback but with boots or pumps it doesn't go that way. And also it applies for leather in most cases

@jasmine547 I'm going to use this tutorial on some shoes i just bought. The shoe on the left foot fits perfectly, but since my right foot is bigger than my left by just a little bit, i'm going to stretch out the right shoe =) It could also be used for someone that is a half size, but wants to buy shoes from a store that doesn't carry half sizes!

Oh my god! I've done this before! I'm absolutely crazy about high heels, & I've had to ice up some of my older pairs, as well as one pair for my friend . it's cool how it works..
